This will be my 28th year taking part in the Winter Open Studios at the ICB (Industrial Center Building). There will be 100 + artists participating, all under one roof in this historical building!

Awagami International Miniature Print Exhibit

These two small monoprints were both made using multiple drops - one drop with the solar plate and one drop with a monoprint plate. Both are printed on Awagami Shiramine Select paper, then mounted chine colle style on Awagami Bamboo Select for stability. I used Akua Intaglio inks. The dimensions are approximately 7” x 10”. Both images (photographs) were photographed using a Canon “Rebel X Ti”.
The first monoprint ("Through the Bramble Arch: Exploring Secrets of an Italian Garden") uses an image I photographed while visiting the garden of the Villa Valmarana ai Nani in Vicenza, Italy.
The second monoprint ("Chateau Charms: The Enchanting Hallway of Chenonceau") uses a photograph I took while visiting the Chenonceau Chateau in the Loire Valley in France.
These monoprints will be on exhibit in the “A.I.M.P.E.”
